hazrat khadijah, the wife of the holy prophet(sa)was a woman of good conduct and piety. after the holy prophet(sa)he attained prophethood, hazrat khadijah became his wives confidante. when hazrat muawiyah, the first umayyad caliph, heard of this, he sent hazrat salman(ra)to hazrat khadijah and said, the holy prophet(sa)has given me a secret which i have been guarding for him. i have heard that you are the confidante of the holy prophet(sa)and that he has told you of a secret that he has told me, and i have told you of a secret that i have told him. i would like to see what you will tell me. she said, i am at a loss as to what you could tell me. he said, listen hazrat, he (the holy prophet(sa)) has appointed me (to become the caliph) and i have appointed you (to be the queen of the muslims). i am told that the holy prophet(sa)has told you of a secret that he has told me, and i have told him of a secret that i have told you. if you could tell me of your secret i would be pleased, and if he told you of his secret, i would be pleased too. she said, i have no secret, but i know his secret, and i would like to tell you if he would like you to tell me yours. she then told him, i have no secret, but i know his secret, and i would like to tell you if he would like you to tell me yours. he said, i will tell you mine, and you tell me yours. i will tell you what he has told me of his secret, and you tell me what you have told him of yours. i asked him about a prophetic tradition about a bedouin who said he would meet the holy prophet(sa)at the ka'ba, and he (the holy prophet(sa)) said to him, that is a right way for you to go. i asked him about a prophetic tradition about ammar bin yasir(ra)who said that he would meet the holy prophet(sa)at the ka'ba, and he (the holy prophet(sa)) said to him, that is a right way for you to go.
